PRIVATE BETA

MyRacingPath is in private beta and not open to the public. These policies apply to you now: they are not drafts. We update them as the product changes, and we will tell you before any material change takes effect.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Our community

  • MyRacingPath exists to help drivers develop their careers. Our community should reflect the best of motorsport culture: respect, skill development, fair competition, and support for fellow drivers.
  • These Guidelines cover everything you write or upload on MyRacingPath: your profile, your session and race notes, what you type to our AI features, and anything you send us.
  • There is no user to user messaging and no public posting in the private beta. Some of the rules below therefore describe what we will never allow rather than what is possible today, and they take effect the moment a feature does.
  • Breaching these Guidelines can result in content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.

2. The rules

Treat everyone with respect

  • No harassment, bullying, or abuse of any kind.
  • No threats, intimidation, or stalking.
  • No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Disagree respectfully; debate the issue, not the person.

Keep it legal

  • No content that breaks UK law or the law of your country.
  • No content promoting terrorism, violence, or serious crime.
  • No content encouraging or facilitating self-harm or suicide.
  • No illegal drug content.
  • No sale of illegal items.

Protect children

  • No content that sexualises, grooms, or endangers minors.
  • No attempts to contact minors outside verified channels.
  • No requests for personal information from minors.
  • No sharing of images or videos of minors without parental consent.

Respect privacy

  • No sharing of personal information (addresses, phone numbers, school names) without consent.
  • No impersonation of others.
  • No non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • No doxxing.

Keep it honest

  • No fraud, scams, or deceptive practices.
  • No fake reviews or testimonials.
  • No misrepresentation of race results or credentials.
  • No fake sponsorship claims.

Respect the sport

  • No content promoting dangerous or illegal driving practices.
  • No match-fixing or result manipulation discussion.
  • No encouragement of unsafe behaviour.
  • Respect officials, stewards, and race control.

Keep it relevant

  • MyRacingPath is for racing career development. Keep content relevant.
  • No spam or repetitive promotional content.
  • No irrelevant commercial promotion.

3. Age-specific rules

For users under 18

  • Nobody can message you through MyRacingPath. There is no user to user messaging in the private beta, for any age.
  • Your profile is not public and nothing you write is published to other users. If you join a team, your team manager sees your racing record and your teammates see topline numbers (sessions, races, podiums, skill score), both disclosed before you join.
  • No location sharing between users.
  • Never arrange to meet someone privately through anything you find here, and tell a parent if anyone asks you to.

Adults with access to an under-18 account must

  • Be a team manager whose invitation that driver accepted, which for an under-18 driver also needs a parent or guardian's approval before it completes. We do not list or introduce coaches in the private beta. Before we list any, they will need Motorsport UK safeguarding compliance and enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Report any concerning behaviour from others to our safeguarding contact at safeguarding@myracingpath.com.

4. How we enforce these rules

  • We use a combination of user reports, automated detection, and review by our safeguarding contact to identify rule breaches.
  • Minor breach: warning and content removal.
  • Repeated breaches: feature restrictions.
  • Serious breach: temporary account suspension.
  • Severe breach or pattern of behaviour: permanent ban.
  • Illegal content: immediate removal, account termination, and reporting to authorities where required.
  • For child safety concerns, our response prioritises safety and may escalate immediately to permanent action and external reporting.

5. Reporting rule breaches

  • Inside the app, Report a concern in the account menu goes straight to our safeguarding contact. You can also email safeguarding@myracingpath.com at any time.
  • We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours, and to act within 72 hours on anything involving a child's safety. We cannot promise cover at every hour, so if something is urgent do not wait for us: call 999 if someone is in danger, or Childline on 0800 1111.

6. Appeals

  • If you believe our enforcement action was wrong, you can appeal.
  • Send appeals to support@myracingpath.com within 30 days of the action. Include the action, your reasoning, and any context we should consider.
  • Appeals are reviewed afresh against these Guidelines and the evidence, and we respond within 14 days. As MyRacingPath grows, appeals will be allocated to a reviewer not involved in the original decision.
  • There is no independent body that can overturn us. We are a UK service, so the EU's Digital Services Act route does not cover you, and we have not signed up to an ombudsman. We would rather say that than point you at a backstop that is not there.
  • You can still go outside us. If your complaint is really about your personal data, the ICO is the right place and our Privacy Policy explains how. If it is about money or your subscription, our Terms of Service set out the court route. Neither of those is us marking our own homework.

7. What we do with reported content

  • Reports of illegal content may be reported to authorities as legally required.
  • Reports of child safety concerns go to our safeguarding contact immediately, and onward to the appropriate external authority where required.
  • Reports are kept confidential. We do not reveal reporter identity to the reported user except where legally required.

8. Changes to these Guidelines

  • We update these Guidelines when needed. Significant changes are notified in-app with 30 days' notice where possible.
  • Continued use of MyRacingPath after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.

9. Contact

For questions about these Guidelines, contact support@myracingpath.com. Anything about a child's safety goes to safeguarding@myracingpath.com instead, which reaches our safeguarding contact. See also our Terms of Service and Safeguarding Policy.
