PARENTAL CONSENT POLICY

1. The minimum age is 13

• MyRacingPath has a minimum age of 13. Sign-up asks for a date of birth and refuses anyone younger. There is no under-13 account type and no parental consent route around the minimum age, so there are no under-13 accounts for a parent to consent for.
• MyRacingPath is available to UK residents only, so one age applies. In the United Kingdom, 13 is the age at which a person can consent for themselves to an online service processing their data, under Article 8 UK GDPR. Our minimum age matches it.
• United Kingdom is the only country of residence our sign-up form offers, and our servers reject any other. If we open another country we will publish its rules here before anyone there can sign up.

2. Drivers aged 13 to 17

• A driver of 13 or over opens their own account and uses MyRacingPath in their own right. Consent they give at 13 or over to our handling of their data is their own valid consent, and they do not need a parent's permission for it.
• Payment is different. Nobody under 18 can buy anything here. Checkout is closed to everyone for the whole beta, and if we open it, an under-18 account will need a parent or guardian to hold the subscription and agree the Terms first.
• If a driver under 18 is invited to join a team on MyRacingPath, the join waits for a parent or guardian's approval before it completes. We email the request to the parent or guardian address we hold, and the decision is theirs.

3. Parents and guardians who manage drivers

A parent or guardian who wants to manage one or more drivers does it through a Team: a manager seat plus a seat for each driver, with every driver's racing on one dashboard. The driver accepts the invitation, and for an under-18 driver the guardian approval above runs first. A team manager sees a driver's performance data only: no conversations, no private notes, no date of birth and no safety flags.

4. Safety concerns and data rights

• How we protect under-18 drivers, and where a safety concern goes, is set out in our Safeguarding Policy. For the most serious signals we also email a parent or guardian, where we hold an address for one.
• Requests to access, export or erase a driver's data are covered by our Privacy Policy. A parent or legal guardian can raise a request on an under-18 driver's behalf.
• If an account has been set up in your child's name against your wishes, email support@myracingpath.com and we will look into it.
